At the Police Station
About the Play
This is the neighborhood police station that is never empty… Lost souls inevitably find their way here… Behind its bars stand nameless heroes… Who knows where this story begins or how it will end…
Four in the morning… A neighborhood police station… And the regulars begin to arrive one by one… Thieves, shameless rogues, eccentrics, married people, singles, spinsters, killers, criminals, and geniuses… Different souls from different worlds meet here, creating a comedy impossible to look away from…
It is the story of people who were excluded, hurt, and overlooked—a story that seems funny but is in fact deeply sad… Every story we witness confronts us with our own… Perhaps with the possibility of a happier or entirely new beginning… Their common ground is life… Each seems to have been flung here from another planet… Roads that look distant yet run along one another’s edge… Sometimes fleeing from each other, sometimes becoming intertwined…
The stories are colorful, but the people are black and white…
