May Your Eyes Go Blind, Eros
About the Play
A court is convened on Olympus. The High Council puts Eros, the God of Love, on trial for abusing his duty. Eros has not been doing his job properly, and people across the world are drifting away from the magnificent feeling called love. Yet Eros is the most innocent of all, because the place the High Council sent him is the world’s most complicated and peculiar country: “ŞAŞKARYA”.
By presenting a panorama of society, the play invites us to confront ourselves once again. It offers a tragicomic perspective on the pitiful state into which lost human relationships and connections built on lies have led us.
